For instance:
Cloud’s first Limit break is known as Braver.
After using Braver a specific number of times in battle, he can utilize his level 1 Limit Break, which is called Cross-Slash. To learn that first Limit Break at another level (in this case, level 2), the character must gather a certain amount of deadly blows. That means the character must be the last to strike the opponent before it dies. Once that character has killed the number of enemies, they will earn an initial Level 2 Limit Break (in Cloud’s instance, he’ll receive Blade-Beam).
The same development pattern holds for all characters, but each needs a different amount of kill blows and Limit Breaks to advance to the next step. So if you’ve had the experience of looking for why your backup healing and support characters aren’t getting new Limit Breaks, it’s most likely the reason. You’ll need to find them to be able to accumulate killing blows.
It is also important to remember that this formula doesn’t apply to level 4 Limit Breaks. Side Quest

Omnislash (Cloud)
Omnislash is available in the Battle Square Arena in Gold Saucer. It is required to collect around 32,000 BP after the game (or you could try to achieve 51,600 points when you’ve obtained an item called the Tiny Bronco). Omnislash is among the most potent attacks available in the game. It is a must to use it at the end of the game in the final fight against Sephiroth; however, getting the ability to use it against some of the most challenging battles (including Emerald Weapon and Ruby Weapon) is vital.
Cloud will be attacked fifteen times, with each attack being critical. Each episode does 75% damage; however, due to the critical hits, this will likely result in each attack causing 9,999 injuries. The only attack to come even close to this to this is Knights of the Round Materia.
Final Heaven (Tifa)
“Tifa’s” Limit Break Level 4 Limit Break is referred to as Final Heaven, and it can be acquired at any time after Cloud returns to your party (after you have picked Cloud up from Mideel, on disc 2.). Catastrophe (Barret)

Yuffie’s Limit Break Level 4 can be found during a side quest in Wutai, the town where Yuffie grew up. Completing this side quest before disc 3 is the best way to ensure that you’ll have every piece of Materia taken by Yuffie. Click here for the steps to obtain your Materia returned from Yuffie. Once you have all the Materia back (or in the case of disc 3, and Yuffie has stopped stealing your Materia), you’ll be able to take on your Wutai Pagoda side quest to get All Creation.
All Creation will hit all the opponents on the field with eight times the average damage. This is likely to be capped at 9,999 HP. This makes it a relatively weak attack in general (compared with Omnislash and Highwind).
Chaos (Vincent)
Vincent’s level 4 Limit Break is in Lucrecia’s Crystal Cave. It is required to be able to access this submarine (and complete your underwater reactor portion in this game). Look over Lucrecia’s Crystal Cave side quest section for more details about where to locate the cave and how you can get Vincent’s Limit Break at Level 4 and his ultimate weapon, Death Penalty.
Vincent can transform into Chaos which is a formidable demon-like creature. The physical attack Vincent will cause 250 per cent damage to enemies, and he could immediately kill enemies by using the move “Satan Slam”. The issue with this move will be that you’ll lose control over Vincent for the rest of the fight.
Notice: Cait Sith does not have a ff7 Limit Break Level 4.
