The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dragonborn Game Guide
Miraak (Dragon Language: Mir-Aak, “Allegiance-Guide”) is the main antagonist in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn, The first of the known Dragonborns (according to him, locals from Solstheim and Hermaeus more) as well as a dragon priest.
History
When dragons were in charge of mortals, Miraak was a dragon priest on the Island called Solstheim. He was granted the Black Book, which eventually led him to the service of Hermaeus Mora, who was known as the Daedric King of Knowledge and Fate, who taught him a method to immense power and power: a shout from a dragon capable of bending dragons to his wishes.
With this knowledge, which was forbidden to him, that he had, Miraak turned on his dragon masters and used it, as well as its power, as Dragonborn to devour the souls of their masters and grow ever more powerful. In the Dragon War, the ancient Nord heroes Hakon One-Eye Gormlaith Golden-Hilt and Felldir the Elder had begged for Miraak to use his Dragonborn power to aid them in defeating Alduin. But Miraak could not cooperate and instead fought himself to revolt against the dragons. In the wake of his deceit, the dragons destroyed the temple of his temple on Solstheim.
His revolt was unsuccessful, and the rebel was defeated by a Dragon Priest known as Vahlok, appointed his jailer who restrained him from Solstheim. [1The story goes on to say that Another account states that when Vahlok was planning to kill Miraak, Hermaeus was about to kill him, he saved the man by transferring Miraak into The realm of Apocrypha. The dragons then appointed Vahlok as the new ruler on the Island; however, it was not until he had been forced to swear an oath to guard against the return of Miraak which earned his title “The Jailor. ” 2.
In the meantime, Miraak stayed in the realm of Apocrypha until he had enough influence and power to go back to Solstheim and succeed within the 4E of 201.
Personality
Miraak is often portrayed as confident and reckless, believing that his Dragonborn background sets him apart from his previous dragon masters. When he meets Miraak, the Last Dragonborn, Miraak claims that as compared to them, they’ve only killed a “few dragons” and do not yet comprehend the full capabilities of the Dragonborn like him (unless you have completed the quest entirely, in which case has been accomplished and in that the case Miraak will admit to gratitude to his fellow Dragonborn). Miraak also believes that he is above the rule of Hermaeus’s Mora. Miraak can also be described as a person who seeks power and was willing in the past to tie himself to the lordship of Hermaeus Mora to gain knowledge that is forbidden and controlled.
Perhaps because of his arrogance, Miraak is shown to be a formidable individual because he was not just able to overcome the Dragons that he fought as well but was adept at devouring several of them before the defeat, as a total of twenty-one Dragon Skeletons can be seen all around and inside his temple.
Miraak is adamantly independent and appears driven solely by his desire for power. This is evident not just through his first betrayal of the Dragons at their peak the power of them but his resistance to the consequences of Apocrypha in the sense that their desire for knowledge binds all who go there cannot leave; however, Miraak seemed unaffected.
In his final fight against the Dragonborn in his last battle, he says that Hakon and the other Nord heroes wanted to use him to take down Alduin; however, he decided not to pursue this for the reasons he had. But, if Alduin had already been defeated when he met his opponent, he would declare that he could kill the world-eating in a further display of his arrogance.

Dragonborn
Following that quest, ” The Way of the Voice,” two Cultists will summon and inquire about the Dragonborn to confirm whether they are Dragonborn. Following the conversation, they will strike. Once they have been killed, the note that contains an order to be killed by their “False” Dragonborn to be able to Miraak will be discovered on their bodies. The quest is sent to Solstheim, the Island. Solstheim.
On the Island, If you ask around, Raven Rock will lead to someone suggesting that it is recommended that The Temple of Miraak be studied. Then, it is discovered that Miraak has taken over the inhabitants of Solstheim with the help of Miraak’s all-maker stones.
The Temple of Miraak
Miraak is reunited with his Last Dragonborn.
Miraak is seen in the very first way at the adventure’s close. When they find his Black Book: The Waking Dreams, within the temple’s depths, The Dragonborn is transported into Apocrypha in the realm of Hermaeus’s Mora. The moment it is discovered, Miraak will strike the Dragonborn to the ground and declare that they don’t know the power of the Dragonborn. Then, he says they can wait for his return, just like all of Tamriel, before directing his followers to take his Dragonborn into Nirn and then ride off on the back of a dragon.
If the Dragonborn kills a dragon while it already has a dragon soul, whether in Solstheim or Skyrim, Miraak will briefly appear, mock the Dragonborn, absorb the dragon’s soul, and vanish.
At the Summit of Apocrypha
Miraak is seen, for the last time towards the end of the quest, to take down those who are Dragonborn as well as eat their souls to allow him to return to Solstheim. Miraak starts with a brief monologue while his dragons, Relonikiv and Kruziikrel, are seated in nearby arches.
Miraak’s demise
During the fight, dragons patrol the top. Every time Miraak is close to death and is near the end, he summons an individual dragon and devours its soul to bring back his health. When the three dragons are consumed, he will be defeated.
After the loss, Hemaeus appears, impales the man with a tentacle and expresses his displeasure. Then Miraak disappears, leaving only an emaciated unrecognizable skeleton. Hermaeus Mora transfers his position to Last Dragonborn. The Dragonborn then absorbs the soul of Miraak and gives between five to ten dragon souls as well as any souls that Miraak might have taken. Because of the soul absorption, the Dragonborn will remain a dead skull. Consequently, it is impossible for the Dragonborn to never see the face of Miraak without dispensing the mask command from the console.
Then climb Mount Sahrotaar to fly up to the tower, where Miraak is a resident. Remember that you can eliminate a couple of people from one or more islands as you travel, but it’s optional. You may have observed that the dragon follows an established path, meaning you’ll encounter your foe sooner or later. Your appearance will surprise him, and you will have the chance to strike the first punch.
The battle will follow an order – when Miraak’s health is reduced to a certain amount (around 30 per cent), and he teleports to an inaccessible location on the map. He will then remove the soul from one nearby Dragon (therefore healing injuries). The process repeats four times. The final one who dies is Sahrotaar Sahrotaar, who could try to attack you but not before the final battle (using Bend Will again to cause him to die).
The method to beat defeat Miraak will be reasonably easy to follow – get near him when possible and strike with a close fight (he’s much more dangerous in combat at a distance). The foe can use multiple spells, especially electricity, but it’s not a great choice in a battle. You’ll be fantastic if you only carry two healing potions and can fight well.
If Miraak is left with low health and no further Dragons within the region, Hermaeus Mora will show up and take him down. In this way, the central tale that is Dragonborn can conclude. Before leaving the unfriendly world in Apocrypha, look for the attacker’s body and place your book in the room to earn an additional reward. You’ll be able to use the dragon souls you have collected (11 in all) to regain the skill points that were not appropriately distributed. This option is handy and can be utilized multiple times as you want (by the return to your place).
